Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

Our Parent Teacher Association – Friends of Little Gonerby School (FOLGS) is a group of parents/carers of the Academy who organise social events for the school community to raise much needed funds for valuable resources and enhancements to the school experience for our children.  

There are three main events FOLGS host: 

• A Christmas Fair 

• An Easter Fair 

• A Summer Fete 

There are also smaller events organised throughout the school calendar, such as a Valentine’s Disco, Movie Nights and a Hello Yellow Mental Health family activity afternoon.  

FOLGS is always looking for new members to join the team and this can vary from being fully on the team in attending all meetings and events, or volunteering time on the day for particular events throughout the year.  The support can be as little or as much as you would like.   

There are so many benefits to being part of FOLGS: 

• Opportunities to meet other parents/carers with children in the school.  

• Investing in the school community  

• Using your skills 

• Seeing your efforts making a difference to the children and resources in the school.
