Welcome to EYFS at Little Gonerby CE Primary Academy, we are the youngest learners in school. We love to explore, imagine, create, and learn through play. 

On a Wednesday we have Miss Ellis, she comes and does sports with us.

Please makes sure that you come to school in your kit on these days with long hair tied back.

In Reception a lot of our learning is exploratory, this can sometimes get messy! We ask that you leave a change of clothes and wellies at school and as the weather turns colder we ask that you bring a coat to school everyday. It is important that all of your clothes are labelled.

This term we are looking at 'In the garden'

The children have loved exploring the minibeast element of this term. We have been on bug hunts and become fascinated in some of the smallest creatives on the planet.

We discovered something incredible! Whilst we have been learning about what they do and why they are important, we have remembered some of the things we learnt about during 'Superheroes' and this has helped us come to the decision that minibeasts are Superheroes too!

We have been exploring lots of types of texts, our exploration of non fiction texts made us want to create our own version of a non fiction text. So we did - Wonderful Worms!
