Parent Governor - Melanie Bailey

I have a daughter here at the school and we both live in the area. I have been a teacher of modern foreign languages since 2000 and currently teach part-time.  Over my career I have taught in the primary and secondary sector both in the UK and overseas. Additionally, I ran my own languages tuition business for three years. 

 

I came to faith in November 2015 and my daughter and I regularly attend a local church.  I think it is a benefit to my daughter to be able to attend a Church of England school. 

 

I have been interested in being a governor for many years so I am happy to be a part of the governance of this school bringing my skills and experiences to the Governing Body.

 

I am in the Learning & Teaching Committee so that I can bring the skills I have in the academic world to the progress of education in Little Gonerby.
