Healthy Eating Week - Breakfast Club

This year Healthy Eating week is 1st to 5th June and we have been given five challenges to achieve during this week.  The five challenges are: 

  • Have a healthy breakfast
  • Eat 5 portions a day of fruit and vegetables a day
  • Drink plenty of water
  • Get active
  • Try something new

 

We have decided that as a whole school we will attempt to achieve all five of the challenges.  From Tuesday 2nd until Friday 5th June we will give all the children either Corn Flakes or Rice Krispies for breakfast in school. If your child does not like either of these cereals please ensure they have had breakfast before they come to school as there are no alternatives.

 

The cereal has been donated by ‘His Church’ who are partnering Kellogg’s as part of their Help Give a Child a Breakfast Campaign to ensure that the 1 in 7 children who miss breakfast in the UK start the day in the right way.
